Whether you’re a player looking to play competitive matches or a casual improver looking to have fun and broaden your tennis network, the Sportch tennis competition is for you.
Our competition is open to adults of all ages and abilities. Each player can represent their club or coach and matches played count towards improving your rating. Have your British Tennis Membership (BTM) number on hand to enter during registration.
We appreciate the need for flexibility and that’s why our unique competition allows you join or leave at any point – you can play as much or as little as you wish!

Players can choose to play in their location or club. Players competing through Sportch give their club and coach more profile and visibility in the local area. Our goal is to organically connect sporting communities through our network of players competing through the platform.

Sportch Tennis is thriving with ladder locations right across the capital. There are too many clubs to name individually but they can all be found through the app.
Popular clubs in Chelmsford include Writtle Tennis Club and Hamptons Sports and Leisure. Grove Tennis Club and Chelmsfordians Tennis Club also contribute towards a thriving tennis community. On the outskirts are Great Baddow Lawn Tennis Club and Danbury Tennis Club. While a little further afield there is Ingatestone & Fryerning Tennis Club, Mountnessing Tennis Club and Stock Tennis Club.
In Brentwood the biggest clubs are Brentwood Hard Tennis Club, Hutton and Shenfield Lawn Tennis Club and of course Brentwood Tennis Club. Bentley Tennis Club and Billericay Lawn Tennis Club have excellent facilities while David Lloyd Gidea Park, Gidea Park Tennis Club and Grosvenor Lawn Tennis Club aren’t far away. Other options include Kelvedon Hatch Tennis Club, Raphael Park Tennis, and Virgin Active Clearview.

A well thought out app which is great for meeting new opponents and arranging match ups. Algorithms mean that you are appropriately matched with opponents of similar ability which is great. All in all a fab new app.

Lots of our members have subscribed to Sportch which allows them to compete with other players in the area including coaches and players who represent other clubs. The app has gone down really well with our members – particularly those who like to play singles. It’s also been a fantastic advert for our club as visiting players often consider joining as members.
